Barabas Luzern Hotel - Lucerne

The hotel had a very central location, minutes from a chapel and a tower.

We had a very enjoyable stay because of one night.

The room with bunk beds. Liked lovely design. Location: the hotel was near the train station, shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store called The Coop and the river and the old town of Luzern.

Comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep.

The room was too small for four people, lacking storage space.

Fairly quiet and immaculate rooms, I had great experience.

It was in the middle of Lucerne with Old Town Lucerne nearby. My room included central heating and an electronic key card.

The location was good, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a local history museum. The staff team was amazingly kind. I liked spotlessly clean room with a clean bathroom.

Had a blast exploring the interactive Gameorama game museum with my friends. We enjoyed games from the past and present. The Canyoning Fun Tour was a thrill and perfect for bonding. The staff were friendly and the location was ideal for wandering around town.

The bunk bed in our room felt a bit unsafe due to a lack of railing, made sleeping on the top bunk uneasy.

Staying here was such a unique experience! The rooms, designed like old prison cells, were surprisingly cozy and super clean. I really enjoyed the quirky vibe of the place. The location is perfect for exploring, and I loved having some fun games like darts and foosball to wind down after a day out.

Staying in Barabas Luzern was a unique experience! The historical atmosphere of the former prison combined with modern amenities. The staff were warm and cute, everything was easily accessible and comfortable for seniors like me.

More comfortable seating in common areas would help.

Given the thick walls and narrow windows, the room can feel a bit claustrophobic, especially for those with luggage since storage space is minimal. The noise level fluctuated throughout our stay, especially during late-night hours, due to thin windows and proximity to the alley. The self-service check-in lacked the personal touch many tourists appreciate, leaving us to navigate the hotel amenities on our own and sometimes feeling a bit disconnected.
